Product Introduction
Shield machine reel cable is a dedicated retractable power cable matched with tunnel boring machines (TBM). It is wound on the cable reel drum of the shield equipment, continuously undergoing frequent winding, unwinding, dragging, bending and torsion during long-time tunneling construction.
Conventional ordinary rubber cables easily suffer broken conductors, sheath cracking and short-circuit faults under reciprocating reel operation. Our TBM reel cable adopts reinforced anti-torsion layered structure, specially optimized for muddy, wet, gritty, oily harsh underground tunnel environments, stably supplying power for main drive, hydraulic system, walking and auxiliary units of full-face shield machines, EPB shield and slurry shield equipment.
Internal Structural Configuration
2.1 Conductor
Extra-fine tinnedcopper wire stranding conductor, ultra-high flexibility, low resistance, stable power transmission under repeated bending and twisting cycles.
High-performance EPR rubber insulation, heat resistant, standard voltage grades 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV, complying with IEC industrial cable standards.
Specially wrapped cross torsion-resistant cushion layer, effectively offset twisting force when the cable reels back and forth, preventing core distortion and wire fracture.
Premium CR chloroprene or PUR polyurethane sheath as options. Outstanding abrasion resistance, mud resistance, oil resistance, water and weak acid alkali corrosion resistance; tear-proof against gravel and sharp rock debris inside tunnels.
