INTRODUCTION
One Cable. Power. Video. Control. Push-Ready.
When your pipeline inspection robot enters a 200-meter sewer main, the cable is its lifeline — delivering power to the crawler, carrying high-definition video back to the operator, and transmitting real-time telemetry and control commands. A single point of failure in any of these channels means a lost robot, an incomplete inspection, and an expensive retrieval operation.
Derul Cable's DERUL-PRC series eliminates that risk with a purpose-built hybrid design that integrates 75Ω high-bandwidth coaxial video, multiple shielded power conductors, and twisted-pair control signal lines into a single, rugged cable — all reinforced with a GFRP push-rod core and Kevlar tensile members for push deployment and 300 kg retrieval strength.

Municipal sewers, storm drains, industrial process pipes, and underwater outfalls share common enemies: water, chemicals, abrasion, and tight bends. The DERUL-PRC cable is engineered to defeat all of them:
PUR outer jacket resists abrasion from concrete pipe edges, withstands oil and chemical exposure, and shrugs off hydrolysis even after years of submerged operation
IP68 construction means the cable works under 10+ meters of water pressure — no signal loss, no short circuits, no corrosion
GFRP push-rod core lets operators push the cable into pipes without a crawler, speeding up inspections and eliminating powered reel complexity
Tinned copper conductors and braid prevent oxidation in high-humidity environments and provide consistent electrical performance over thousands of inspection cycles

ADVANTAGES
Unlike conventional cables that require a crawler to pull them through, the central GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) core gives this cable the rigidity needed for push-rod deployment. Operators can manually push the cable through pipes up to 200 meters without a powered crawler — saving cost, setup time, and complexity. The GFRP core is non-conductive, corrosion-proof, and maintains its stiffness across the full temperature range.
Integrates one high-bandwidth 75Ω coaxial video core, multiple shielded power conductors, and twisted-pair control signal lines into a single compact cable. One cable replaces three separate runs:
75Ω coax → HD CCTV video with <1 dB signal loss over 100 m
Power conductors → Camera, lights, and crawler motor power
Shielded signal pairs → Telemetry, pan/tilt/zoom control, sonde/locator data
Double-extruded PUR outer jacket with sealed internal construction provides full IP68 waterproof protection. The cable maintains electrical integrity even when continuously submerged in sewer, storm drain, or underwater pipeline environments. Ideal for flooded pipe inspection, heavy rain conditions, and underwater infrastructure surveys.
The premium polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket delivers industry-leading resistance to:
Abrasion — dragging against concrete, gravel, and metal pipe edges
Oil & Grease — hydrocarbons, hydraulic fluids, and sewer contaminants
Hydrolysis — long-term exposure to water and humidity without degradation
Microbial attack — resistant to bacteria and fungi in wastewater environments
UV & Weather — suitable for outdoor storage and yard deployment
A dense layer of Kevlar / aramid yarn filling combined with the GFRP core delivers ≥300 kg breaking strength — the cable can be retrieved from stuck positions without snapping. The tinned copper braid shield (≥85% coverage) suppresses electromagnetic interference from pump motors, variable-frequency drives, and nearby power equipment, ensuring stable, noise-free video and data transmission.
Every pipeline robot has different connector pinouts, core counts, and length requirements. Derul Cable configures to your exact specification:
Core layout: specify power × signal × coax count and AWG
Connector termination: bare ends, molded circular connectors, or customer-supplied connectors
Length: cut-to-order reels or pre-assembled cable assemblies
Jacket marking: meter marking and custom print available
Sampling: 5–7 working days; mass production: 10–20 working days
