INTRODUCTION
Zero buoyancy ROV tether cable is a hybrid subsea cable combining power, data and video signals for underwater robots. Thanks to accurate density design, the cable keeps neutral buoyancy in seawater, without sinking or floating. It will not create extra pulling force on the ROV, helping the subsea robot move flexibly and stably during underwater operations.
The outer jacket adopts high-performance PUR material, featuring excellent hydrolysis resistance, seawater corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Built-in Kevlar strength members provide strong tensile resistance against stretching and twisting.
This hybrid tether is suitable for subsea inspection, offshore engineering, hull checking and underwater research. Custom conductor configuration, cable diameter and working depth can be offered to match different ROV models.
