INTRODUCTION

Derul Cable presents high-performance zero buoyancy ROV tether cable, also named neutrally buoyant underwater cable. Reinforced with Kevlar strength members, this floating composite cable is engineered for all types of subsea robots and underwater drones.

Different from ordinary marine cables, the overall density of our neutrally buoyant umbilical cable is precisely matched to seawater. The cable maintains suspended status underwater without sinking or floating upward. It greatly lowers towing resistance, prevents cable winding, and stabilizes the movement of underwater robotics during long-duration subsea operations.

This Kevlar reinforced floating cable adopts premium PUR outer jacket, featuring excellent seawater corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and low-temperature resistance. The internal structure can integrate power conductors, signal wires and optical fibers to realize simultaneous power supply and data transmission. It supports customized core layout, working length and rated depth to meet custom requirements of inspection ROV, work-class ROV and underwater survey equipment.
