INTRODUCTION
Subsea umbilical cable, also known as ROV umbilical tether, serves as the critical power and signal lifeline for remotely operated vehicles and various subsea underwater projects. Manufactured by Shanghai Deru Cable, our neutral buoyant ROV umbilical cable is built with premium PUR jacket and Kevlar reinforced strength members to withstand harsh seawater, abrasion, hydrostatic pressure and continuous dynamic bending in marine environments.
This hybrid subsea umbilical cable integrates power conductors, shielded signal pairs and optional optical fibers within one compact composite structure. Thanks to neutral buoyancy design, the cable keeps balanced suspension underwater, eliminating extra pulling load on ROV systems and greatly improving underwater robot maneuverability during subsea inspection, marine survey, offshore exploration and underwater engineering operations.
The outer PUR jacket delivers excellent saltwater resistance, hydrolysis resistance and wear resistance. Internal Kevlar aramid reinforcement bears all tensile loads during deployment and recovery, protecting inner electrical and optical cores from breakage. We provide custom length, custom conductor quantity, custom tensile strength and tailored outer diameter according to client’s project parameters.
