INTRODUCTION
This composite ROV tether integrates single-mode optical fiber and copper power conductors with PE insulation, specially designed for small neutrally buoyant observation ROVs.
The PE insulation layer boasts excellent water resistance, insulation stability and low signal attenuation, separating power transmission and high-speed optical data transmission independently.
Single-mode fiber delivers ultra-high bandwidth for 4K/8K underwater video, multi-channel sensor data and long-distance real-time control signals with negligible signal loss.
Built-in copper conductors provide stable power supply to the ROV thrusters, cameras and underwater measurement sensors.
Matched with neutrally buoyant foamed filling structure, the whole cable achieves near-zero weight in water, eliminating dragging tension on compact ROV units.
Smooth outer jacket reduces underwater fluid resistance, anti-abrasion and anti-torsion for long-term underwater inspection, hull cleaning and reservoir monitoring missions.
