INTRODUCTION
ROV(remotely operated vehicle) is tethered to the vessel with a floating neutrally-buoyant umbilical cable, which transmit power and signal communication between the two.

Zero underwater pulling load
The tether density matches seawater/freshwater, eliminating downward drag force on the ROV. Thrusters do not waste extra power to counteract cable sag, significantly extending underwater working endurance.
Stable vehicle attitude control
Unlike negative buoyant cables that pull the ROV off course, neutrally buoyant tethers suspend freely in water. The ROV maintains steady hovering, turning and close-up inspection without external pulling interference, ideal for precise underwater filming, pipeline inspection and salvage operations.
Less abrasion, entanglement and propeller winding risks
Suspended mid-water without dragging against seabed rocks and sediment, greatly reducing outer jacket wear. No tight tension during ascent/descent prevents tangling with thrusters or manipulators, cutting underwater breakdown risks.
