INTRODUCTION
PUR spiral cable (also called coiled spring cable, retractable cable, or spiral power cord) is a high-flexible cable pre-wound into a helical spring shape and jacketed with polyurethane (PUR). It is engineered for industrial equipment that requires continuous extension, retraction, and reciprocating movement — delivering power and signal transmission while keeping the workspace tidy and preventing tangling.
A PUR spiral cable combines two proven technologies: a coiled spring structure that stretches and automatically retracts, and a polyurethane (PUR) jacket that protects against the toughest industrial conditions. The helix acts as a built-in strain relief and cable carrier, so the cable extends up to 3–4 times its unstretched length and springs back when tension is released.
